Erik outer tunic

Our outer tunic made in black cotton is perfect when the weather is too warm for wearing woollen garments.

Based on what we know from the Viking Age, men’s clothing usually consisted of a linen kirtle – a long pullover shirt – worn over a woollen kirtle. Floor length men’s kirtles were more commonly used among the wealthy; by wearing an impractical floor length kirtle, a man would display his ability to hire workers. Incidentally, the length of these tunics changed over time. While the calf-length kirtle was common in the early Middle Ages, these were replaced by shorter tunics toward the end of the age.

Our Eric tunic features a shorter and more practical design, perfect for vikings who enjoy a fight or a nice hike.
